Congresswoman Barbara Comstock (VA-10) released the following statement after media reports surfaced that Joseph Hassan Farrokh from the Woodbridge area was charged with attempting to provide material support and resources to ISIS. Farrokh was arrested at the Richmond International Airport yesterday where he was set to board a plane to begin his travels to Jordan and ultimately to Syria. Amin Mohamed Elhassan was also arrested for aiding and abetting in Farrokh’s plans.
