Congresswoman Barbara Comstock on the Passing of Joe Montano

Washington, DC – Congresswoman Barbara Comstock (R-VA) released the following statement on the passing of Joe Montano, Senator Tim Kaine’s (D-VA) Northern Virginia Regional Director: 

“It was with deep sadness I learned today of the sudden passing of Joe Montano, Senator Kaine’s Northern Virginia Regional Director.  Joe was the Senator’s face in the community, working on behalf of our mutual constituents.   Joe’s knowledge, energy, and infectious humor and personality were part of his character and charm.  His engaging style was his strongest quality and he will be missed not only by Team Kaine, as he liked to identify himself as part of, but by my staff who worked closely with him, and the constituency he served.  My staff and I extend our deepest condolences to Joe’s family and to the Senator and his staff.”
