Comstock Statement On Orbital ATK Being Awarded NASA Commercial Contract To Resupply The International Space Station

Washington, DC - Congresswoman Barbara Comstock (VA-10), a member of the House Science, Space, and Technology Committee, released the following statement on the news that Dulles-based Orbital ATK was awarded a contract to resupply the International Space Station with a minimum of six missions:

“This is exciting news for the Orbital ATK family that they are being awarded the next round of Commercial Cargo Resupply contracts by NASA and it reaffirms the good work they are doing right here in Virginia’s 10th Congressional District.  I had the pleasure of touring Orbital ATK’s Dulles campus last year and they are constantly working hard to innovate and improve their product to fit the needs of NASA for safe space flight.”
