Washington, DC - Congresswoman Barbara Comstock (R-VA) issued the following statement on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Speech Before A Joint Meeting Of Congress:

“It was such a privilege today to attend Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s address to a joint meeting of Congress.  Israel is our greatest ally in the Middle East and the Prime Minister spoke with clarity and conviction about the existential threat that a nuclear Iran poses to Israel and the world.  The American people heard from a leader today about why a nuclear Iran is simply unacceptable.  It was clear from the response at the speech that there is a bipartisan consensus to stand with Israel.  I look forward to working with my Republican and Democrat colleagues in Congress to continue that tradition.”
